Walking Scrabble

Walking Scrabble is a bi-weekly program here at the library!

For every day that the library is open, you can come in after your walk, or any kind of exercise, and select Scrabble tile.

At the end of the 2 weeks, with a potential 10 tiles, you submit your best word!

The person with the highest scoring word is the winning for that round, with the overall winner being announced at the end of the year!

If you’d like to join in, come to the library and inquire at the front desk!

From Soup To Tomatoes

From Soup To Tomatoes is a beginners, chair-based exercise program that is suitable for everyone!

This program is not directly held in the library. Instead, we have packages for you to take home so you can exercise in the comfort of your own home!

Each package contains (almost) everything you need to start the program, including a USB stick with videos for you to follow, plenty of instructions, as well as an exercise band to aid in resistance training. The only piece of equipment the package does not contain are the weight used in some workout, so why not trying using some cans of soup or tomatoes?
